RECTOR APPLAUDS TEACHING AND NON-TEACHING STAFF

Rector of the Premier Polytechnic, Prof. Sylvester Achio has applauded hardworking staff of the institution saying the staffs have served as loco parentis for students which he believes created in graduands a vibrant, inclusive and creative culture that will enhance their lives beyond the Polytechnic during the 15th congregation held recently.

Touching on graduands statistics he revealed that a total of 4,171 students graduated from the School of Applied Sciences and Arts, School of Business and Management Studies and the School of Engineering for the 2015/2016 academic year.

MANAGEMENT TO SUPPORT HCIM STUDENTS

Rector of Accra Polytechnic Prof. Sylvester Achio has promised students with the Hotel Catering and Institutional Management Department that Management is thinking of a way to support and cushion them when it comes to undertaking their practical assignment in their area of specialization.

According to the Rector “I know it’s very expensive to carry out such practical assignments” he said.

NEW LEVEL DEMAND NEW MIND SET- EXPERT INSISTS

Lead Consultant of Seamless Management Solutions and an expert in customer service, Mr. Patrick Fiagbe has charged administrators of the Polytechnic to cultivate the attitude of a new mindset especially as the institution prepares for convention to a Technical University.

The advice was given during a two day workshop organized for administrators with the Polytechnic on the theme “The Transition of the Polytechnic into Technical University: Strengthening the Roles and Responsibilities of the Administrator” at the Dodowa Forest Hotel in Accra.
