‘‘Upgrade Yourselves Professionally’’ – ATU Senior Administrators Urged As 4-Day Workshop Closes.

It's a wrap! The "Team Building and Joint” training for senior administrative members of the Accra Technical University has come to a successful end at the University's lodge.
It has been an exhilarating four-day workshop with impactful presentations and insightful discourses among participants and facilitators of the workshop.
The workshop was hinged on thematic areas such team building, leadership, and university administration. Participants were led through discussions by facilitators Mr. Dotun Osiyemi , C.E.O of Dorterrys  consultant Limited and Dr. Paul Effah, President of Radford University College.
There was an interactive session where participants were grouped to provide solutions to the proliferation of certificate-awarding institutions that have reared its head in the university landscape. Solutions were presented in the form of a memo which was addressed to the Vice-Chancellor of Accra Technical University.
Furthermore, Dr. Effah gave participants a comprehensive lecture on skills and ethics that govern the administration of a University as well as effective management of the affairs of the University.
The highlight of the workshop was the case study session where the analytical skills of participants were put to test by an administrative puzzle. Participants analysed the problem and came up with solutions to solve such problems should they occur in the course of their work as administrators of the University.
In his concluding remarks, Dr. Effah urged senior members of the University to remain active and knowledgeable of the trends of higher education and suggested that participants upgrade themselves professionally to keep up with wind of change that is constantly blowing in the University terrain.
