Amatrol Hands Over Mechatronics Equipment To Accra Technical University

Amatrol a tech-based company in the United States of America has handed over state-of-the-art Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to the Engineering Faculty of Accra Technical University (ATU), in a brief ceremony.
CNC machines such as Hydraulic Instrumentation Module, Micro Mill, Process Control System, CCTV cameras and an advanced Computer Lab were among the instruments presented to officials of the University through the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COTVET).
In an address delivered on behalf of COTVET at the ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Amevi Akacpovi, indicated that the training and installation of the Amatrol equipment would go a long way to provide competency-based training for both mechanical and electrical engineering students of the University
“We have received some equipment as part of COTVET project from a partner Amatrol to be installed in our laboratory. I am certain that the equipment will be put to good use.”
The Acting Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Edmund Ameko, thanked the government (through COTVET) for the support in the provision of the modern equipment.
Professor Ameko, assured the government that the University will apply strict maintenance rules to ensure that the laboratories are in good condition.
