Accra Technical University has agreed with Anointed Pillars Associates Limited to construct a five-storey auditorium complex on the Kinbu campus.
A brief signing ceremony marked the agreement on Friday, 2nd July 2021, at the University’s Council Chamber.
The Vice-Chancellor of Accra Technical University, Professor Samuel Nii Odai, in a short address, thanked the University Management, Directors and Deans for their patience and support towards the realisation of the complex. He revealed that the project had gone through several stages of rigorous evaluation, both from internal and external assessments and thus, assured the gathering of value for money.
Additionally, the Vice-Chancellor urged the Audit and Finance Directorates to work as a team to expedite all financial obligations for seamless project delivery. “This project must not stall. We must all work together so that this project does not go beyond the stipulated period,” he stressed.
Mr Nana Yaw Yirenkyi, Managing Director of Anointed Pillars Associate Limited, assured the Vice-Chancellor and the University Community of his company’s commitment to delivering on time and with the best quality materials.
Prof. Odai signed on behalf of the University, whereas Mr Nana Yaw Yirenkyi signed on behalf of his company.
The project is expected to commence in two weeks and be delivered within 18 months from the day construction commences.
