Another milestone has been reached in the history of Accra Technical University as it has opened its first-ever souvenir shop. An initiative conceived for quite some time by its astute leadership has finally seen the light of day in a tape cutting ceremony led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Samuel Nii Odai.

The shop commences its operation in the sale of ATU-branded items such as pens, mugs, backpacks, ceremonial cloths, key holders, stickers, wrist bands and many more.

Speaking at the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor stressed the importance of the souvenir shop as an important part of telling the story of ATU and maintaining its history. He hinted on Management’s plan to provide a museum in that respect.

He implored students and members of the University to show their love for the University by patronising the products at the shop. “It will be heartwarming for me to see an ATU souvenir displayed in your home when I visit any of you in future” he said.

The ATU Souvenir Shop is the first of its kind and is strategically located at the center of the University making it easily accessible to its customers. The shop opens from today and any other working days.
