ATU to Benefit from Collaboration with Kingdom Books

Barely a month into the 2020/2021 academic year, Accra Technical University has advanced its strategic partnership with Kingdom Books and Stationery Limited in another agreement between the University and Kingdom Books.
The collaboration which hopes to bolster teaching and learning activities will afford students and lecturers the opportunity to have access to electronic books from Kingdom Books.
According to Peter Gyateng, General Manager of Kingdom Books, his outfit will provide students with downloadable e-books which are relatively cheaper and come in the latest editions. He stressed that unlike most e-book hubs in Ghana that do not have up-to-date editions of academic books, Kingdom Books will offer an endless repertoire of scholarly materials by just subscribing to their platform.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Samuel Nii Odai, in an elated mood described the partnership as apt in these times where the use of online platforms for academic learning is all the rage owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. He mentioned that the e-books will augment the online learning which has already been rolled out by the University this academic year.
Recall that on Wednesday, October 21 2020, Accra Technical University signed a tenancy agreement with Kingdom Books and Stationery Limited to begin a new working relationship. The agreement gives Kingdom Books the mandate to set up a store on campus to facilitate the accessibility of high-quality learning materials from the stationery giant.
