The SESCs are expected to provide services to policy makers and regulators for early transformation of the SE market in Ghana and also to identify SE project opportunities and prepare for investment. The centers are to be provided with well-equipped mobile laboratories to facilitate various activities aimed at enhancing the capacity building of the SESCs. To stimulate the market and further improve the competence of the SESCs, demonstration audits shall be done on some of the ongoing Energy Efficiency and Demand Side Management Project (EEDSM) retrofits on Government buildings of MiDA. In the second phase the SESCs will continue with the activities listed in phase one expected to add certification in three categories: a) Ghana Sustainable Energy Management Professional (SEMP) Certification; b) Ghana Sustainable Energy Audit Professional Course (SEAP) Certification Course; c) Ghana Energy Audit Practical (EAP) Course;
