Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Accra Technical University, Professor Amevi Acakpovi, has been
inducted as a fellow to the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Ghana. Professor
Acakpovi was nominated, reviewed and elected by the Institution’s Council on the recommendation
of the Membership, Grading and Vetting Committee.
A formal induction ceremony was held on Friday 13th May 2022 in Accra. Professor Acakpovi
was inducted along with 110 colleagues who make up the IET Fellows Class of 2022.
The IET Ghana is a professional institution committed to the promotion of quality engineering
and technology practice as a catalyst to national development.
