We trained Twenty (20) EPC Assessors who conducted energy audits for Forty-Two (42) campus and public facilities, supporting improved energy performance and compliance standards.
Our Solar PV Technology Program trained Thirty-Eight (38) installers in the design, installation, and maintenance of solar PV systems for domestic, commercial, and industrial applications, strengthening the renewable energy workforce.
Through our Professional Energy Audit Training Program, we equipped Seventy-Seven (77) professionals with the technical skills to conduct energy audits in building and industrial facilities, enhancing national capacity in energy efficiency services.

The graduation ceremony, which was hosted at the Amonoo-Neizer IDL Conference Room, KNUST, highlighted the achievements of 20 students from each of the three centres, culminating in a national total of 60 graduates. These students completed intensive training in energy auditing and building performance specification, equipping them with the skills necessary to advance sustainable energy practices in Ghana.

In collaboration with the University Library, the Centre successfully secured and supervised the installation of an 80kWp Solar PV grid-tied system under the 2025 Solar Grant Award funded by EBSCO. This milestone project strengthens the university’s transition toward clean and renewable energy.
