Prof. Frank Frimpong Opuni is an Associate Professor of Marketing and the Founding Dean of the Graduate School at Accra Technical University (ATU), Ghana. With more than 15 years of distinguished academic and administrative experience, he has made significant contributions to social marketing, sustainability, digital governance, and postgraduate education.
Under his leadership, the Graduate School has successfully secured accreditation and launched 13 master’s programmes, thereby advancing postgraduate training and fostering research innovation at ATU. Professor Opuni holds a PhD in Business and Management (Marketing Specialisation) from Greater Manchester University, UK, an MBA in Marketing from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and a B.Ed. in Psychology from the University of Cape Coast.
He has published extensively in reputable international journals, including those of Elsevier, Springer, and Taylor & Francis, with his research recognised through strong citation indices across Scopus, Google Scholar, and ResearchGate. His scholarly expertise in advanced quantitative methodologies such as Structural Equation Modelling, Artificial Neural Networks, and Qualitative Comparative Analysis underscores his reputation as a leading researcher in applied marketing and management studies. Professor Opuni has held strategic academic leadership roles at ATU, including Coordinator of the Graduate School, Head of the Teaching and Learning Centre, Head of the Quality Assurance Department, and Head of the Department of Marketing.
