Undergraduates with qualifications in BBA/BSc/BTECH in the areas of Marketing, Management, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship and other relevant Social Sciences. with a minimum of a Second-Class Lower Division.

A good first degree in the following fields: Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Planning, Real Estate, Facilities, with a minimum of Second-Class (Lower) Division.

A good first degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a closely related area from a recognised University.

A good first degree in Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Planning, Real Estate, Interior Design and Upholstery Technology or any other relevant field.

An applicant for admission to the MTech Fashion Production Management programme must possess a good first degree in Fashion/Textiles from an accredited institution.

A candidate for admission must have obtained a good first degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics and Automation Engineering with a minimum of second-class lower division from an accredited University or Institution. Candidates with a Pass and industry experience will be required to partake in an entrance interview for admission consideration.

b) International Applicants

Academic Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines from an accredited institution and a minimum of a Second-Class Lower Division or equivalent GPA.

The certificate will be referred to GTEC for assessment and recommendation

First-degree holders in Procurement and Supply Chain or Logistics and Transport holders with a minimum of 2nd-class lower division, and Graduate Diploma in Procurement and Supply or Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Transport holders.

A Bachelor’s degree in the Biosciences, Chemical Engineering, Food Processing Engineering, Food Technology and Biotechnology with a Second-Class Lower Division.

(i) Bachelor of Technology / Bachelor of Science / Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science.

Graduates from BTech/BSc. Medical Laboratory Science/ Medical Laboratory Technology/ Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science programme must have a minimum of second-class lower honours division with one-year post-qualification experience and a license from Allied Health Professional Council.

Prospective applicants must have a first degree in Communication studies, marketing and related fields, with at least a second-class lower division.

Applicants to the Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Artificial Intelligence & Decision Analytics are required to hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum of second-class lower division. However, preference will be given to graduates with backgrounds in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, and other related courses. Other applicants with evidence of work experience may be required to attend and pass an interview.

  1. First Degree holders in Accounting and Finance or Finance with a minimum of 2nd Class lower. Applicants with a pass or 3rd class in Accounting or Finance other recognized institutions and relevant working experience may be considered after passing an interview.
  2. First degree holders in Procurement and Supply Chain, Marketing, Management and Public Administration, Engineering, Mathematics and Statistics with a minimum of one year work experience may be considered after passing a semester bridging course
  3. Holders of professional certifications such as Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAG) Certified Public Accountants (CPA), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and Chartered Institute of Taxation
  4. All foreign qualifications shall be referred to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) for determination of equivalence and eligibility for admission to the University.

International Applicants Entry Requirements

International applicants may be admitted based on qualifications from their home countries, for which equivalence shall be determined by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) of Ghana and submitted to the University. Evidence of proficiency in the English Language will be required in the case of applicants from non-English-speaking countries.
