I. Higher National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology
Applicants with the 3-year Higher National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology (HND SLT) at least Second Class Lower from a recognised institution may be considered for admission to level 200 (Evening Session) of the BTech Medical Laboratory Science Programme after passing an interview.
c. ADMISSION TO LEVEL 300: WEEKEND SESSION
I. Bachelor of Technology Science Laboratory Technology
Applicants with a Bachelor of Technology, Science Laboratory Technology with at least Second Class Lower from the Accra Technical University and other recognised institutions with working experience in the health sector, may be considered for admission to level 300 of the BTech Medical Laboratory Science programme after passing an interview and bridging course examination.
II. Bachelor of Science Qualifications
Applicants with a 4-year Bachelor of Science in either Biological Science, Biochemistry, Applied Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Human Biology, Laboratory Technology or other life sciences qualification at least Second Class Lower from a recognised institution with working experience in the health sector, may be considered for admission to level 300 of the BTech Medical Laboratory Science programme after passing an interview and bridging course examination.
III. Bachelor of Technology Science Laboratory Technology (Clinical Biochemistry Option)
Applicants with a Bachelor of Technology in Science Laboratory Technology (Clinical Biochemistry Option) from Accra Technical University and other recognised institutions, with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in the health sector, may be considered for admission to level 300 of the BTech. The Medical Laboratory Science programme is offered after passing an interview and a bridging course examination.a
IV. Higher National Diploma / Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
Applicants with a 3-year Higher National Diploma or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) with at least Second Class Lower from a recognised institution accredited by the Allied Health Professions Council with working experience in the health sector,
may be considered for admission to level 300 of the BTech Medical Laboratory Science Programme after passing an interview and bridging course examination.

16. BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY IN 4-YEAR BTECH FACILITIES MANAGEMENT (4–YEAR DEGREE)
I. SSSCE/WASSCE- Six (6) credits (A – C) and (A1 – C6) in all subjects, including English Language, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies and at least three (3) of the subjects must be Credit or better.
II. ORDINARY TECHNICIAN DIPLOMA- Six (6) passes in Ordinary Technician Diploma (OTD) courses.
III. CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN COURSE (CTC II – OLD or CTC III – NEW) – Applicants should
be holders of CTC I with passes in all CTC II old scheme courses. Applicants should be holders of CTC I, CTC II with passes in all CTC III new scheme courses.
IV. HND APPLICANTS-(HND) certificate in Building Technology with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division is eligible to join at level 300. Applicant must submit, along with the form, an HND certificate and a transcript.
17. BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY IN CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT
I. SSSCE/WASSCE- Six (6) credits (A – C) and (A1 – C6) in all subjects, including English Language, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies and at least three (3) of the subjects must be Credit or better.
II. ORDINARY TECHNICIAN DIPLOMA- Six (6) passes in Ordinary Technician Diploma (OTD) courses.

I. West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) Applicants
Applicants with a minimum grade of C6 or better in three (3) core

Social Studies and any three (3) elective subjects will be admitted to level 100 of the Programme.
II. Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) Applicants

For non-science students, Grade C6 or better in Elective Mathematics and/or elective ICT is required.
II. Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE)
Grade D or better in three (3) core subjects (English, Mathematics, Integrated Science) and Grade D or better in 3 elective subjects in General Science (Elective Mathematics,
Physics and Chemistry). For non-science students, a Grade D or better in elective
mathematics and/or elective ICT is required.
III. Diploma Holders
Applicants with a Higher National Diploma (HND) and a two-year Diploma in Informatics, Information Systems, Information Technology or any other relevant programme with a minimum
of Second-Class Lower Division would be eligible for admission to the third year (level 300) of the programme. Professional diploma holders (IPMC) are not eligible for admission. Other Diploma qualifications which are equivalent to HND or a two-year Diploma after assessment by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) will be considered for admission to the programme.
IV. Technician Certificate Holders
A minimum of two (2) passes the Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE) in Information
Technology (WAEC) plus four (4) GBCE credit passes, including English Language,
Mathematics and Science.
22. BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY IN COMPUTER SCIENCE (4–YEAR DEGREE)
I. West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)

Applicants with a a minimum grade of D or better in three core subjects; namely, English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies as well as any three elective subjects including at least one of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Elective Mathematics, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Applied Electricity, Technical Drawing, Economics, Geography, Accounting and Financial Accounting.
III. GCE Applicants
Applicants with passes in three Advanced Level (A/L) subjects, including at least one of the following: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Geography or Accounting. A pass in
Mathematics will be an advantage, and at least one of the passes should be Grade D or better, in addition to having credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE ordinary level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject.
25. BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY IN RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGY

D or better) in addition to having credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English, Mathematics and a Science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subject for Science students, will be admitted to level 100 of the B-Tech Renewable Energy Technology Programme
IV. HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) APPLICANTS
Applicants with the 3-year Higher National Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive, and Electrical Engineering with a minimum of second-class lower division from a recognised institution may be considered for admission to level 300 of the B-Tech Renewable Energy Technology Programme after passing an interview.
26. BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY IN FOOD MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY
I. WASSCE: applicants must have SIX (6) (A1- C6) in all subjects, including English Language, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science, and must possess C6 in any three (3) elective subject areas such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture Science, Food and Nutrition, and Elective Mathematics.
II. SSSCE / WASSCE Applicants
Applicants must have SIX (6) Credit passes (A-C) in all subjects, including English Language, Core Mathematics and Core Science, and at least three (3) Credit passes in relevant elective subject areas such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture Science, Food and Nutrition, and Elective Mathematics.
III. Technician Applicants
SLT Part One Certificate plus C6 in English Language, Core Mathematics
and Integrated Science.
IV. HND Applicants
HND applicants from a recognised institution with a Second Class Division in the
following Programmes: Food Technology, Food Processing, Food Production, Food
and Beverage, Food Science, and Nutrition, may be admitted to the Second Year
of the Programme with a minimum of a Second-Class Lower.
HND applicants with HND HCIM or HND SLT will join in the second year after a 2-month bridging course.
VI. International Applicants
Academic records of international applicants will be referred to the GTEC for the determination of qualification equivalence and eligibility for admission, as well as placement.
