David Kwame Amoah is a Senior Lecturer and a Professional Engineer with the Department of Civil Engineering, Accra Technical University.
He attended Peoples’ Friendship University in Moscow, Russia obtaining MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering in 1996.
He is a long-serving member of the University having joined the Department of Civil Engineering in June 1999.
In the service of the University, he was twice Head of Department of Civil Engineering, Acting vice Dean and Acting Dean of Faculty of Engineering.
He has been involved in research and publication, has advised the University on infrastructural projects on campus and served on several committees.
Outside the University, he has represented the Ghana Institution of Engineering on committees related to education and is an assessor for the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
His research interest is in Structural Health Monitoring of Civil Engineering Infrastructure.
