Anita Bans-Akutey is a lecturer in the Department of Management and Public Administration of the Faculty of Business of Accra Technical University. She has over twelve years of experience in various management positions spanning oil and gas, construction/mining support and telecommunication sectors. With a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a master’s degree in Development Management, also from KNUST, she is currently a PhD candidate in Management with Zambia’s Unicaf University.

Her research interest is in applying information and communication technology to management practice.
