IV. General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level
Applicants with passes in three (3) subjects including Mathematics and Physics. A pass in Chemistry will be an advantage, at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better) in addition to having credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English, Mathematics and a Science subject
IV. Technician Applicants

V. Mature Applicant
The mature applicant must:
a. Be at least 25 years old
b. Show proof of age with a birth certificate or any legitimate documentary proof of birth date, which is at least 5 years old at the time of application.
c. In addition, applicants must pass the Mature Entrance Examinations to be conducted in English Language, Mathematics, General Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
d. The mature candidate must have relevant working experience in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and related subjects.
VI. INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS
International applicants may be admitted based on qualifications from their home countries for which equivalence shall be determined by the Commission for Technical and Vocational Educational Training (CTVET) of Ghana and submitted to the University. Evidence of proficiency in English Language will be required in the case of applicants from non-English speaking countries.

IV. General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level

Candidates must at least have CTC II. Candidates will be required to do a bridging course.

Applicants with minimum grade of C6 or better in three (3) core subjects i.e. English Language, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies/Life Skills and at least three (3) Credit passes in any elective subject.
II. Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE)
Applicants with minimum grade of D or better in three (3) core subjects i.e. English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies or Life Skills and three (3) Credit passes in any elective subject.
III. Certificate II Applicants (Technical School Graduands – CTVET)
Credit passes or better in three (3) core subjects namely; English Language, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies; and must possess three (3) credit passes or better in three relevant elective subjects.
IV. GCE ‘A’ Level Applicants
Five (5) GCE ‘O” Level credits including English Language and Mathematics and a Science Subject in addition to Three (3) GCE ‘A’ Level passes two (2) of which should be grade C or better. A pass in General Paper is an advantage.
V. DBS Applicants
Applicants must have credit passes in DBS subjects.
and
FOUR (5) GCE ‘O’ Level / GBCE / SSSCE / WASSCE credits including English Language and Mathematics.
VI. Ghana Commercial Examination (ABCE Applicants)
Applicants must have three (3) credit passes in RSA III/ABCE. Two (2) of the passes must be D or better
and
Five (5) GBCE or Five (5) GCE ‘O’ LEVEL/SSSCE/WASSCE credits including English Language and Mathematics and a Science Subject.
VII. HND Applicants
Marketing will start from level 300; HND from other disciplines should have not less than a Second class lower to start from Level 200.
VIII. Diploma Programme in Marketing Holders
Applicants with Diploma in Marketing and Diploma in Business Administration with minimum of Second Class LOWER Division will be admitted into Level 200. Applicants with other relevant Diploma qualifications with a minimum of second-class lower division will be admitted to Level 200.
IX. Mature Applicants
who have attained the age of 25 years or above at the time of application and have pass in three (3) GCE ‘O Level and WASSCE/SSSCE in addition to passing an Entrance Examination and /or Interview.
X. International Applicants
International applicants may be admitted based on qualifications from their home countries for which equivalence shall be determined by the Commission for Technical and Vocational Educational Training (CTVET) of Ghana and submitted to the University. Evidence of proficiency in English Language will be required in the case of applicants from non-English speaking countries.
International applicants are also requested to acquire Non-Citizen Ghana card as a pre-requisite for regularisation of admission.
L. SCIENCE LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY
I. West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) to be admitted to level 100
Applicants with minimum grade of C6 or better in three (3) core subjects i.e. English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science and three (3) elective subjects namely Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Elective Mathematics will be admitted to level 100 of the BTech Science Laboratory Technology Programme.
II. Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) to be admitted to level 100
Applicants with minimum grade of D or better in three (3) core subjects i.e. English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science and three (3) elective subjects namely Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Elective Mathematics will be admitted to Level 100 of the BTech Science Laboratory Technology Programme.
III. Other WASSCE/SSSCE Backgrounds
Applicants with minimum grade of C6/D or better in three (3) core subjects i.e. English Language, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science, and with minimum grade of C6/D or better in any three (3) electives, that is in Chemistry, Biology, Food and Nutrition, Elective Mathematics, and Physics will be considered for admission to Level 100.
VI. General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level to be admitted to level 100
Applicants with passes in three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better) in addition to having credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English, Mathematics and a Science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subject for Science students will be admitted to level 100 of the BTech Science Laboratory Technology Programme.
VII. Top-up Applicants
Applicants with the 3-year Higher National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology (HND SLT) with CGPA of not less than 2.5 (Second Class Lower Division) from a recognized institution may be considered for admission to level 300 of the BTech Science Laboratory Technology Programme.
Applicants with a requisite 3-year diploma in radiography, diagnostic imaging, sonography, Science Laboratory Technology (radiographer technicians) or any other relevant diploma programme with CGPA of not less than 2.5 (Second Class Lower Division) from a recognized institution accredited by the Allied Health Professions Council, with a minimum 1-year working experience in the health sector, may be considered for admission to level 300 of the BTech Science Laboratory Technology Programme after passing an interview and bridging course examination which will comprise of Level 100 and 200 courses to make up for the deficiency in the transcripts of the applicants.

2. ADMISSION TO LEVEL 200: EVENING SESSION
I. Higher National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology
Applicants with the 3-year Higher National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology (HND SLT) at least Second Class Lower from a recognized institution may be considered for admission to level 200 (Evening Session) of the BTech Medical Laboratory Science Programme after passing an interview.
3. ADMISSION TO LEVEL 300: WEEKEND SESSION
I. Bachelor of Technology Science Laboratory Technology
Applicants with a Bachelor of Technology, Science Laboratory Technology with at least Second Class Lower from the Accra Technical University and other recognized institutions with working experience in the health sector, may be considered for admission to level 300 of the B.Tech Medical Laboratory Science programme after passing an interview and bridging course examination.
II. Bachelor of Science Qualifications
Applicants with a 4-year Bachelor of Science in either Biological Science, Biochemistry, Applied Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Human Biology, Laboratory Technology or other life sciences qualification at least Second Class Lower from a recognized institution with working experience in the health sector, may be considered for admission to level 300 of the B.Tech Medical Laboratory Science programme after passing an interview and bridging course examination.
III. Bachelor of Technology Science Laboratory Technology (Clinical Biochemistry Option)
Applicants with the Bachelor of Technology Science Laboratory Technology (Clinical Biochemistry Option) from the Accra Technical University and other recognized institutions with a minimum of 2- year working experience in the health sector may be considered for admission to level 300 of the BTech. Medical Laboratory Science programme after passing an interview and bridging course examination.
IV. Higher National Diploma / Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
Applicants with a 3-year Higher National Diploma or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) with at least Second Class Lower from a recognized institution accredited by the Allied Health Professions Council with working experience in the health sector, may be considered for admission to level 300 of the BTech Medical Laboratory Science Programme after passing an interview and bridging course examination.
N. MEDICAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGY
I. West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
Applicants with minimum grade of C6 or better in three (3) core subjects i.e. English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science and three (3) elective subjects namely Physics and Elective Mathematics, and any of the following; Biology, Chemistry, General Agriculture and ICT.
II. Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE)
Applicants with minimum grade of D or better in three (3) core subjects i.e. English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science and three (3) elective subjects namely Physics and Elective Mathematics, and any of the following; Biology, Chemistry and General Agriculture.
III. General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level

Applicants with a minimum grade of C6 or better in three (3) core subjects, namely; English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies as well as any three elective subjects including at least one of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Elective Mathematics, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Applied Electricity, Technical Drawing, Economics, Geography, Accounting and Financial Accounting.
II. SSSCE Applicants
Applicants with a minimum grade of D or better in three core subjects; namely, English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies as well as any three elective subjects including at least one of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Elective Mathematics, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Applied Electricity, Technical Drawing, Economics, Geography, Accounting and Financial Accounting.
III. Certificate II Applicants (Technical School Graduands – CTVET)
Credit passes or better in three (3) core subjects namely; English Language, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies; and must possess three (3) credit passes or better in three relevant elective subjects.

P. CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT/BUILDING CONTROL SURVEY/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
I. West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)/SSSCE Applicants
Six (6) credits (A–C) and (A1–C6) in all subjects including English Language, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies, and at least three (3) of the subjects must be Credit or better.
II. Ordinary Technician Diploma
Six (6) passes in Ordinary Technician Diploma (OTD) courses.
III. Construction Technician Course ( CTC II – Old or CTC III – New)
Credit passes or better in three (3) core subjects namely; English Language, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies; and must possess three (3) credit passes or better in three relevant elective subjects.
III. Higher National Diploma (HND) Applicants
HND Certificate in Building Technology with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division are eligible to join at level 300. Applicant must submit the application form along with the HND certificate and transcript.
