Eric Edem Mensah Passionate about hospitality education and industry-driven training, Eric Edem Mensah serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management at Accra Technical University. His academic and professional work focuses on strengthening hospitality service delivery, food innovation, and practical skills development within the tourism and hospitality industry. Eric is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Hospitality and Tourism at the Durban University of Technology. He also holds an MPhil in Hospitality and Catering from Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development, an MTech in Hospitality and Catering from University of Education, Winneba, a Bachelor of Technology in Hospitality and Tourism from Ho Technical University, and a Higher National Diploma from Accra Technical University. His research interests include service quality in restaurant and hotel operations, food product development, and hospitality management. Through his teaching, mentorship, and research activities, he continues to promote practical learning and professional competence among students pursuing careers in the hospitality industry. Beyond academia, Eric contributes to technical and vocational skills advancement as an expert with WorldSkills Ghana, supporting initiatives that encourage excellence, innovation, and industry readiness in hospitality training.
