Richard Fosu is a Lecturer and Researcher at Accra Technical University, Ghana, specializing in sustainable finance and evidence-based policy research. He excels in higher education teaching, applied research, and consultancy, with international experience in Ghana and the United Kingdom. His expertise focuses on sustainable finance, ESG, SDGs, health finance, entrepreneurship education, governance, and data analytics. He holds an MSc in Finance and an MSc in Strategic Project Planning from Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom. He also has an MA in Development Studies and a BA (Hons) in Economics and Political Science from the University of Ghana. Since 2011, he has consistently taught undergraduates, focusing on business finance, multinational corporate finance, data analytics, operations management, and international financial management. He has further developed academic leadership as Acting Head of the Accra Technical University Language Laboratory (2017–2024), managing language courses and international collaborations. His research agenda centers on sustainability and evidence-based policy development, with a focus on sustainable finance, ESG frameworks, SDGs, biodiversity finance, and Social Return on Investment (SROI). He is particularly interested in financial distress and insolvency among football clubs and their socioeconomic impacts. Richard Fosu has an established publication record in finance, sustainability, digitization, development, and applied social research. His work appears in reputable peer-reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Research in Business and Social Science, the Journal of Social and Development Sciences, the Research Journal of Accounting and Finance, the International Journal of Small Business and Entrepreneurship Research, Developing Country Studies, and the Journal of Education and Practice. He also actively supports the academic community as a peer reviewer for the Manchester School, the Asian Journal of Medicine and Health, and the Research Journal of Educational Studies and Review.
