Amatrol Hands Over Mechatronics Equipment To Accra Technical University

Amatrol a tech-based company in the United States of America has handed over state-of-the-art Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to the Engineering Faculty of Accra Technical University (ATU), in a brief ceremony.
CNC machines such as Hydraulic Instrumentation Module, Micro Mill, Process Control System, CCTV cameras and an advanced Computer Lab were among the instruments presented to officials of the University through the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COTVET).

ATU Virtual Internship Programme Comes To A Closure

The Virtual Internship Programme (VIP) which is aimed at giving over 1,500 second-year students of Accra Technical University pertinent industrial practical skills on campus has come to an end. The three-week long internship, the third of its kind, saw experienced resource persons and experts from industry take students through relevant practical learning and teaching materials, as well as introduce them to practical hands-on training, operations of industry and the real job market.

ATU 70th Anniversary: Tree Planting Exercise To Give Mpehuasem Campus A Facelift

As part of activities to commemorate ATU’s 70th anniversary, some staff and students have undertaken a tree planting exercise at Mpehuasem- Samsam, with an objective of conserving and sustaining nature whilst offering aesthetic beauty to the University. This activity is in fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals; essentially goal 15 and 13, which charges people to take urgent action to conserve and restore the use of terrestrial ecosystems such as forests and also combat climate change respectively.
