Graduate Entry Requirements – ACCRA TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

A. Ghanaian Applicants

MTECH – SUSTAINABLE ELECTRICAL POWER ENGINEERING (Two Year Research Based Programme)

Applicants with a first degree (at least a second class lower division) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a closely related field from a recognised University.
Applicants with a Pass and industry experience will be required to partake in an entrance interview for admission consideration.

2. MSC – CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT (One Year Non-Research Based Programme)

Applicants with a first degree (minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) in a relevant field of study in Bachelor of Technology (BTech) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees in Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Planning, Real Estate, or Facilities Management from any recognised University, accompanied by relevant work experience.
Applicants with a Pass and industry experience will be required to partake in an entrance interview for admission consideration.

3. MTECH – DATA SCIENCE AND INDUSTRIAL ANALYTICS (One Year Non-Research Based Programme)

Applicants with a first degree in Statistics/Actuarial Science, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or any Applied Arts/Science related programme with a minimum of Second-Class Lower division from an accredited recognised University.
Applicants with a Pass and industry experience will be required to partake in an entrance interview for admission consideration.

4. MTECH – FASHION PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT (One Year Non-Research Based Programme)

Applicants must possess an equivalent degree in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Technology in Fashion/Textiles with a minimum of Second-Class Lower division from an accredited recognised University.
Applicants with a Pass and industry experience will be required to partake in an entrance interview for admission consideration.

5. MSC – MARKETING STRATEGY AND INNOVATION (One Year Non-Research Based Programme)

Applicants with qualifications in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Technology in the areas of Marketing, Management, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, and other relevant Social Sciences with a minimum of Second-Class Lower division from an accredited recognised University.
Applicants with a Pass and industry experience will be required to partake in an entrance interview for admission consideration.

B. International Applicants

International applicants may be admitted on the basis of qualifications from their home countries for which equivalence shall be determined by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) of Ghana and submitted to the University. Evidence of proficiency in English Language will be required in the case of applicants from non-English speaking countries.
