In a heartwarming event aimed at fostering stronger bonds between the administration and its international student community, Accra Technical University celebrated Vice-Chancellor’s Day with a special soiree held at the university’s auditorium. The event was graced by the presence of the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Amevi Acakpovi, among other Management Members and a diverse gathering of international students.

One of the major announcements of the evening was the introduction of a 20% rebate on tuition fees for international students starting from the next academic year. This decision was met with resounding applause and appreciation from the audience. The rebate is intended to alleviate some of the financial burdens that international students often face while pursuing their education at ATU.
Students had the opportunity to share their experiences and suggestions during an interactive session, leading to fruitful discussions about accommodation, cultural integration, academic support, and more.
