With expertise spanning telecommunications, industrial automation, and sustainable energy systems, Engr. Benjamin Addo-Mensah is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering at Accra Technical University. His academic and professional interests are rooted in advancing practical engineering solutions that respond to modern industrial and technological demands.

He holds a Master of Science in Engineering (Telecommunications) from the University of Vaasa and is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. Over the years, he has contributed to the growth of engineering education at Accra Technical University through teaching, programme coordination, and student mentorship, having previously served as Programmes Coordinator for the Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

Engr. Addo-Mensah teaches courses including Fault Diagnosis in Power Systems, Instruments and Measurement, Programmable Logic Controllers, Industrial Automation, and Analog and Digital Communication. His teaching philosophy emphasises practical application, innovation, and industry relevance, equipping students with competencies required for contemporary engineering practice.

His research interests include sustainable energy systems and automated technologies, with growing contributions in advanced communication systems and energy optimisation. His scholarly works include studies on hydrogen-fuelled thermophotovoltaic applications and optimisation techniques for 5G massive MIMO systems.
