The Vice-Chancellor of Accra Technical University (ATU), Prof. Amevi Acakpovi, has been honoured by the outgoing executives of the Technical University Teachers Association of Ghana (TUTAG), ATU Chapter, for his leadership and continued support for the Union.
The executives paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor in his office today, October 27, 2026, where they presented a citation in appreciation of his commitment to staff welfare, academic excellence and the growth of the University.
Led by the outgoing Chairman, Prof. Hanson Obiri-Yeboah, the executives acknowledged the Vice-Chancellor’s positive working relationship with TUTAG and his willingness to engage the Union on matters affecting its members.
The visit also provided an opportunity for the outgoing executives to express their appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor as they conclude their term of office.
