The MTech in Construction Technology and Management combines the technical and managerial aspects of construction, focusing on the application of advanced technologies to improve construction processes, and the management of construction projects and organizations. This program covers the integration of technologies such as BIM, CAD, and GIS, as well as construction management principles, including project planning, risk management, and supply chain management, to prepare students for leadership roles in construction technology management, innovation, and strategic decision-making, enabling them to drive efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in the construction industry.
A good first degree, preferably second class lower or better (or a Final Grade Point Average of at least 2.0), in a relevant field of study at the Accra Technical University or any recognized/accredited University.
Candidates should have obtained a B-Tech or BSc in the following fields: Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Planning, Real Estate, Interior Design and Upholstery Technology or any other relevant field.
All foreign qualifications shall be referred to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) for determination of equivalence and eligibility for admission to the University.
Applicants with a pass but do not meet the minimum requirement may be considered for admission based on work experience and selection interview.

2. Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist: Implement BIM technology to enhance construction processes.
3. Construction Technology Consultant: Advise on construction technology adoption and implementation.
4. Sustainability Specialist: Develop and implement sustainable construction practices.
5. Construction Safety Manager: Ensure workplace safety and compliance with regulations.
6. Quality Control Manager: Develop and implement quality control processes.
7. Facilities Manager: Oversee maintenance, operations, and management of built facilities.
8. Construction Estimator: Prepare cost estimates and bids for construction projects.
9. Schedule and Cost Control Specialist: Manage project schedules and costs.
