Africa Health Research Programme Participants Gain Financial Modeling Skills

The Africa Health Research and Innovation Programme has successfully concluded an insightful training session in Operational and Financial Modelling at Accra Technical University (ATU). The session, held at the University Auditorium on February 4, 2025, aimed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge to develop sustainable and impactful innovations in the health sector.

The training was facilitated by Mr. Kelvin Quartey, an investment expert, who guided participants through critical aspects of financial planning, operational efficiency, and sustainability models. The interactive session provided young innovators with practical tools to structure their ideas and enhance their capacity to drive transformative solutions in healthcare.

Speaking on the significance of the training, Mr. Quartey highlighted the importance of empowering young minds with technical expertise and financial acumen. He noted that such training sessions play a pivotal role in fostering innovation and ensuring long-term success in health research and development.
