Accra Technical University is proud to announce the launch of our 75th Anniversary Cloth Design Competition, an exciting opportunity for stakeholders of ATU – students, staff, alumni, and affiliates to showcase their talent and contribute to the celebration of our institution’s rich history and commitment to excellence in innovation and education.
Competition Theme: “75 Years of Impacting Society and Driving Innovation”
Our 75th anniversary theme, “75 Years of Impacting Society and Driving Innovation,” encapsulates the essence of our institution. We have a strong foundation in traditional craftsmanship and technical skills, and over the years, we’ve integrated cutting-edge technologies and modern approaches into our curriculum. This theme invites participants to create a cloth design that symbolizes the harmonious blend of tradition and innovation.
Competition Guidelines:
- No submission fee is required
- The artist retains liability for any issues arising regarding the originality and authenticity of the design.
- Eligibility: This competition is open to all students, staff, alumni, and affiliates of Accra Technical University.
- Design Requirements: Submissions should include a cloth design that visually represents the theme ” 75 Years of Impacting Society and Driving Innovation.” Designs can incorporate traditional motifs, modern elements, or a fusion of both.
- Color Palette: Participants are encouraged to use a vibrant and diverse color palette that reflects the spirit of celebration and diversity.
- Submission Format: Designs should be submitted in a digital format (JPEG or PNG) with a brief description of the concept and inspiration behind the design.
- Deadline for Submissions: [27th October 2023] Any submission after the deadline will be rejected
- The winning design will be checked with trademark databases for this purpose. Any plagiarised material will be rejected and Accra Technical University is under no obligation to communicate this to the contestant
Prizes:
In return for your services, we are offering a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to showcase your work to a wide audience. The winner will:
- Be featured prominently in our marketing materials, events, and other communications, and you will be credited for your contribution to our organization’s success.
- Receive One Thousand cedis (Ghs 1,000)
- Be recognized at the official launch of the anniversary celebration
- Be acknowledged in the anniversary brochure and other anniversary materials.
