The conference room of the ATU Lodge on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, was occupied by staff and students of the Accra Technical University’s Accountancy Department as members of the Internal Audit Agency (IAA) paid a visit to ATU.

The Internal Audit Agency is a Government of Ghana reform aimed at enhancing efficiency, accountability and transparency in the management of resources in the public sector. Accra Technical University’s Faculty of Business hosted a team from IAA to train its accountancy students in various auditing activities and inform them on the functions of the agency. The IAA team advised students to be honest, accurate and thorough in every aspect of their profession.

University heads present included Dr. Shani Bashiru, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Dr. Ibrahim Zubairu, Head of the Accounting and Finance Department.
