Ing. Dr. Mrs. Sarah Fanny Hackman Duncan is a lecturer from the Civil Engineering Department. She is a registered member of the Ghana institute of Engineers and Ghana Chemical society with over 15 years of practice as a practicing water and sanitation engineer.
Her research interest covers screening of quality of surface, ground and waste water sources, development of filters for contaminant removal from aqueous solutions, sanitation technologies, formulation of technologies for heavy metal removal from mine waste, solid waste management. Waste water management.
She champions Science education, women empowerment, as well as technical vocational education and training (TVET). She is the regional (Greater Accra) coordinator for women in technical education development (WITED). She is also a member for monitoring and evaluation committee of the WINE section of GHIE. Ing. Dr. Mrs. Sarah Fanny Hackman Duncan has been a youth, academic and marriage counsellor since 2003.
She is presently the Vice-Dean of student’s affairs, Accra Technical University.
