The MTech in Communication and Brands Management programme is a postgraduate degree designed to develop advanced skills and knowledge in the Communication and Brands Management of technology-driven organisations. This interdisciplinary program combines coursework in Communication and Brands Management, and leadership to measure and increase the value of brands and link the strategic branding decisions for effective communication and financial performance. Students will explore topics such as Communication Research Methods, Management Information Systems, Communication Theories and Models and Public Speaking and Presentation, focusing on practical application and problem-solving. Through lectures, case studies, and research projects, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of the complex interactions between communication, Technology and society, and learn to lead and manage technology-driven organisations effectively. Graduates of this program will be equipped to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and make informed decisions in a rapidly changing technological landscape.
I. Prospective applicants must have a first degree in Communication studies, marketing and related fields, with at least a second-class lower division.
II. Applicants with a pass but not meet third class may be considered for admission based on work experience and selection interview.
III. Applicants with full professional qualifications such as ICAG, ACCA, CIMA, CIM, CPA, ICSA, CIB and its equivalent in related fields recognised by Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC)
IV. International applicants (Foreign Qualification) with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related fields recognised by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
