Patricia Kwakye-Boateng has been a lecturer with the Mechanical Engineering Department for thirteen years.

She holds an MEng degree in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from PKNU, South Korea, and a BSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from KNUST.

She is a certified EPC Trainer by the Institute of Energy Professionals Africa (IEPA), and an internationally certified Sustainable Energy Audit Professional (SEAP) and a Trainer on Installation and Maintenance of R290 ACs and Safe Handling of Natural Refrigerants. She is also a member of ASHRAE.

Patricia is passionate about digital applications and holds certificates in DigiCAP (Advanced Excel, KNIME, and Python) and Microsoft Power Apps. She is a facilitator at the digital capacity center.

She is currently enrolled in a PhD. program with the University of Johannesburg.
