Accra Technical University Signs MoU with Jeonnam State University to Enhance Academic Cooperation
Accra Technical University has agreed with Jeonnam State University, Korea, in a brief virtual signing ceremony at the University’s Council Chamber on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korean university is set to enhance academic and educational cooperation between our institutions. The partnership hinges on research, staff and student exchange, and joint academic initiatives, including academic lectures and symposia, exchange programmes for staff and students, and joint development of educational courses in aviation and drone technology, collaborative research projects.

Professor Jong Hun Chun, Head of Air Drone Innovation & Convergence University Project at Jeonnam State University, was grateful for the opportunity and stressed that the agreement was not just the signing of an official document but a journey of mutual academicbenefit,t especially in the area of drone technology.

In his address, Ag. Vice-Chancellor, Professor Amevi Acakpovi, was optimistic that the collaboration would bolster the gains of the ATU Drone Centre while ensuring that staff and students at both universities with advanced technical skills and global exposure.

The ceremony was graced by some Deans, Directors and Heads of Departments.
