The Directorate of Finance at Accra Technical University is responsible for managing the financial resources of the University and supporting the achievement of its strategic objectives. The Directorate is committed to promoting financial accountability, transparency and efficiency in all financial activities.
As a strategic partner to the Vice-Chancellor and the University Council, the Directorate provides reliable, relevant and timely financial information and advisory services to support decision-making at all levels of the University. It also ensures that the University’s financial activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and established accounting procedures.
The Directorate supports the sustainable development of the University by managing its budget, safeguarding its assets, maintaining effective accounting systems and ensuring the availability of adequate financial resources for academic and administrative activities.

To be the University’s trusted one-stop centre for financial information and a preferred centre for benchmarking best practices in financial operations and systems.

To ensure the efficient allocation of resources, maintain effective financial controls and reporting systems, and promote the transparent and prudent use of public funds in support of the University’s strategic objectives.

Location
The Directorate of Finance is located on the first floor of the Administration Building at Accra Technical University.
