ATU WiTED Chapter, Believe Global Foundation Donate to Nsawam Female Prison Inmates

The Accra Technical University (ATU) Chapter of the Women in Technical Education and Development (WiTED), in partnership with the I Believe Global Foundation, has extended support to the Nsawam Female Prison through a donation of toiletries, stationery, and essential provisions valued at GH₵8,000. The gesture forms part of the chapter’s ongoing commitment to giving back to society and supporting marginalised groups, especially women in vulnerable circumstances.

Presenting the items, the President of the ATU WiTED Chapter, Eng. Dr. Mrs. Sarah Fanny Hackman Duncan emphasised that the initiative aligns with WiTED’s mandate to promote the welfare and empowerment of women. “Our goal is to ensure that no woman is left behind, regardless of her circumstances. Supporting these inmates is part of our responsibility to uplift and give hope to every woman in society,” she stated.
