Her research interest is centred on Entrepreneurship and Small Enterprise Development, New Venture Creation and Management of New and Small Enterprises.  She has worked in committees to develop technical proposals for business start-up projects and programme development for the university. She recently took part in ATU-MSM NUFFIC FUNDED TAILOR-MADE TRAINING (TMT) PROGRAMME for developing ATU staff competencies to design a Commercial Agri-Business course targeted at female entrepreneurs She offers advisory and consultancy services on how to write an effective and marketable business plan, starting your own business, coaching on the entrepreneurial process, SME development, and career choice guidance. She has also spoken in churches and student bodies, organised women and youth groups, and runs workshops and seminars on the acquisition of entrepreneurial skills and the management of small businesses. Ultimately, her objective is to have theoretical and practical exposure to entrepreneurship and career advancement. Before joining academia, he was the head of Finance and Administration at an energy consulting firm in Ghana. His former mandate led him to manage, advise and consult on local and international projects in the advisory sphere. With a decade of applied industry engagement, Dr. Oppong Peprah brings distinctiveness and a high degree of positive peculiarity to bear in his practical and research-driven approach to teaching.    He has researched and made publications covering multidisciplinary areas such as business-related high-performance work systems, social behaviour and health, environment and climate, and educational and social studies. Nonetheless, his current research and teaching areas are in business management, production and operations management, and organizational behaviour with a direct focus on employee-level attributes. He was also a Board Member of Accra Technical University Governing Council from 2014-2020 and served on several statutory committees of Accra Technical University and Regional Maritime University. His research interests are in tax compliance, cross-border taxation and taxation involving digital transactions. Bright Aforla is a Senior Lecturer at Accra Technical University with over 28 years of professional practice as a Civil and Highway/Transportation Engineer. He holds a MSc in Civil and Highway/Transportation Engineering from the Tashkent Highway Engineering Institute in the Former USSR. He was the immediate past Head of the Civil Engineering Department. He provides internal consultancy services to the institution and served on various committees. As an academician, he has a keen interest in passing on technical knowledge and skills to aspiring students and young professionals. His research areas focus on highway design, maintenance, construction management, and environmental sustainability among others. Aforla has been involved in the design, management and construction supervision of a wide range of projects including roads, structures, irrigation, markets, stores, offices, residential accommodation and schools. His experience with projects involving community participation has enhanced his skills in participatory development. He has experience in project management and has been a member of auditing teams, one of which audited Feeder Roads Infrastructural Projects in the Afram Plains. He has also served on various School Boards and currently a member of the Jehovah Shammah Assemblies of God Church Board responsible for infrastructural development. Aforla’s major goal is to counsel and enhance student development to meet their academic and career goals and contribute immensely to infrastructural development, management and sustainability.
