Mr. Adu-Adjei Mensah holds a Master’s degree in Public Sector Management (PSMTP) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (2006). His other qualifications include a Post-Graduate Diploma in Change Management (MSM), Netherland, Post-Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (GIMPA) Ghana, Diploma in Public Administration (UG) Ghana and Advanced Diploma in Marketing Management (ABE), U.K.
Until his appointment as Acting Registrar of Accra Technical University, Mr. Mensah served as the Director of the Business Development Directorate, where he played a pivotal role in spearheading revenue generation initiatives and supporting the university’s entrepreneurial drive. He also served as the Ag. Registrar of the University between 2019 and 2021.
He has a rich background in higher education administration, having held various senior management positions, including Head of General Administration Department, Human Resource Department, Alumni Relations Department and Quality Assurance Department. His areas of expertise include Public Sector Administration, Strategic Management, Change Management, and Strategic Marketing.
Mr. Mensah is known for his results-oriented approach, collaborative leadership style and commitment to excellence. He has served on numerous statutory and ad hoc committees of the University and has contributed significantly to policy formulation and implementation aimed at institutional growth and efficiency.
